Training

DataLab aims to help meet the growing industry and academic need for applied data scientists. Through workshops, mini-courses, bootcamps and consultations we provide skills training for researchers throughout their career to work with data across the research pipeline. Our activities complement material taught in regular courses, provide hands-on applications, and present cutting-edge new topics and under development techniques. We work with faculty to integrate computational tools and workflows into the curriculum, and to develop curriculum surrounding issues of data literacy, data ethics, and reproducible research.

DataLab training activities are open to all UC Davis researchers, including students, faculty, staff and postdocs. External community members can participate in non-impacted trainings as space permits.
