UC Davis DataLab’s Spatial Sciences Research & Learning Cluster (https://stagingdatalab.library.ucdavis.edu/spatial-sciences/) is convening the #maptimeDavis Council, a new advisory panel for their activities, including the #maptimeDavis Workshop Series.
The #maptimeDavis Council will be responsible for representing the #maptimeDavis community, identifying learning needs in the community, recruiting and hosting potential speakers, and otherwise helping us grow and maintain the community. Appointments to the #maptimeDavis Council will be for one year (July 2021-June 2022). The minimum time commitment includes one meeting per month (at most 2 hours). Applications to join this council will be assessed this year by the DataLab staff, but we expect the council itself to take the lead in the future.
