Interested in water data and/or working on a large data challenge? Participate in the CA Water Data Challenge 2019! This year’s theme focuses on “assessing what we know and preparing for a more resilient future.”

To get you started on a Challenge project, we’re working with the West Big Data Innovation Hub and the Moulton Niguel Wter District data team to run a Datathon coinciding with the upcoming California Data Collaborative’s 4th Annual Water Data Summit at UC Davis Davis on August 22-23, 2019. (A second Datathon will be held the following week at UC Irvine coinciding with the Sustain SoCal Water Solutions 4 Conference.)

Details and registration for the UC Davis August 22-23, 2019 Datathon here: https://datathonatcadcwaterdatasummit.eventbrite.com

Details and registration for the UC Irvine August 29, 2019 Datathon here: https://datathonatsustainsocal.eventbrite.com

You need to register for the respective Datathon and be there in person to participate, but you do NOT need to register for the corresponding conference. Researchers from all domains interested in the Challenge are encouraged to participate in one – or both! – Datathons.
